My name is Christian and I started kreativetoolbox.com because I want to educate myself and others in the world of business and marketing. My goal is to gather as much information as possible, implement, test & teach you how to do it. Join me on my journey and together we can succeed!
Now that you know the reason why I started this blog, I can tell you a little about myself. I’m in the retail industry. I started my own business at the age of 16. I owned a wireless store in the city of Pico Rivera, California. For many young kids, this would sound like a dream come true. For me the reality was a little harder to take. I learned the true meaning of responsibility, dedication, and sacrifice. I would NOT recommended this for any young kid in high school. I made good money for my age, but I also made many mistakes. Now I look back and laugh at the memories of convincing my teachers to let me get out of school early so I can go run my business. Once I closed my store down 2 years later, I told myself that I would never start my own business again. I’t was really a stressful experience and I just wanted a way out.
Flash forward 4 years later, the entrepreneur bug bit me again! I was working for a jewelry packaging company in Corona California. It was a good paying job, but I was not happy. Something inside of me told me to find another business opportunity. I was hungry and ready to grow my own business. I just didn’t know what I was going to do yet. I truly believe in the saying “ask and you shall receive” because that same year I meet my business partner with an idea for a retail store concept. Everything came together and we started this business in 2007. Now its 6 years later and we’ve had our highs and lows. Against all odds, we survived the recession and made it though “the storm”.
I’ve been very blessed to learn a lot in these past 6 years. Everything from marketing, pr, sales, merchandising, e-commerce & more. Now I feel the need to share this information with you so maybe it can help someone else too. Everything I learn, I will pass along to you. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me!
